Alpha Gear Raptor Smart Watch Review

I always do a review on every product that I sell on KNM Electronics. I bought some Alpha Gear Raptor smart watches for this store. I took one out to test it and do a review.

Alpha Gear makes some really high quality nice looking smart watches that are ideal for first responders, hikers, campers, runners, hunters, fisherman, etc. They are rugged but still attractive looking. Not big and bulky.

Alpha Gear Raptor Setup - very easy like other smart watches. The Raptor has a charging pad that is magnetic and attaches to the bottom of the watch. The first charge took 60 minutes. Once that's done install the InfoWear app on you phone and sync it with the Raptor. It's very easy. Now you're done. The date and time will sync and the functions like heart rate, blood oxygen and the sports modes.

You can download different faces from the InfoWear app. It displays the face and then you select Sync watch face. It's a breeze.

The Raptor has 3 controls on the right side. The middle control is the display on button. When the watch is on standby, this button will turn on the display. The top button is the Menu button. It has all of the functions like health functions, Sleep, News, Weather, Stopwatch, Timer, etc. The bottom button is for the sports modes. It's pretty easy to navigate around.

Most people don't think much about the watch band. They focus on the bezel/watch base and it's functions. The band is very important because you have to wear this all day. It better be COMFORTABLE. The Raptor band is very comfortable with lots of adjustment slots. You can get just the right size for your wrist. The band is a silicone like gel. It's very soft and stretchy.

The Raptor watch base or bezel is not too big or bulky yet it has a rather large battery in it. It's probably a 400 mAh or large battery.

The step counter is great. It's counts steps, mileage and stride. Very nice! I use this all the time, while at work or home. It's amazing how many steps you take in a day.
