Are Smart Watches Really Useful?
Share
Smart watches are definitely useful if you already have a regular watch. Smart watches tell time and provide the day and date in the least. If this is all you need of any watch is date and time then a smart watch enhances this function. The display and face make it easier to read the date and time. I prefer it to a regular watch. There are hundreds of custom faces to download. You will find at least 10 that you like.
If you need functionality beyond the date and time then the smart watch is going to become really useful and makes it more exciting to exercise and monitor your vital signs like blood pressure, heart rate and blood oxygen levels. It can time your runs, count your steps and measure the distance you have traveled.
Here is a list of functions that a smart watch can do that make it very useful
- Compass - help you navigate while running, hiking, fishing, camping, etc.
- GPS - navigation while on foot or in a vehicle

- Blood Oxygen
- Calories Burned - how many calories are burned during exercise
- Step Counter
- Sleep Monitoring - learn about your sleep patterns, deep sleep, REM and light sleep
